A major first at Marcel Pelchat as he celebrates the 45th anniversary of his business with the launch of a foundation. The Fondation des deux Rose, named in honor of his mother and daughter, both of whom share the same name, aims to support two causes close to the family's heart: heart health and women's issues.

"When I was 14, I remember sitting around the table with my parents and telling them, 'Dad, one day, I'd really love to have my own charity!'" recalls Rose Pelchat, 25, currently in the process of taking over the family business.

"It's something that's always stayed with us, and since my father is a man who gives a lot to others, it felt natural that he would make it happen."

Honoring Women by Giving Back to the Next Generation

For 45 years, women have been at the heart of the business of the self-made businessman, a man who rose from humble beginnings to achieve great success. It was only natural that the first cause supported by the Pelchat Foundation would be women in need.

“It's because of women that my father became who he is,” emphasizes his daughter, Rose. “They have been his clients, his inspiration, and his motivation. Women are his entire life.”

In 2017, during the celebration of one million clients served over 40 years, the salon made a significant donation to La Maison de Marthe, an organization that supports women with experiences related to prostitution.
